State of the City
Moreno Valley Mayor Bonnie Flickinger will deliver the State of the City address at a luncheon on Thursday, September 9 at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center, located at 14075 Frederick Street. This annual event is co-sponsored by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Moreno Valley.
The Mayor and City Council Members will hold a “meet and greet” reception at 11:30 with the luncheon and program beginning at 12:00. Mayor Flickinger will discuss the accomplishments achieved by the City in the last year and look ahead to new opportunities for the future. Information on event sponsors and various City services and programs will be available at booths located within the Conference and Recreation Center. State Senator Bill Emmerson will introduce the Mayor and the event will be hosted by Chamber Chairman Karen Ayers.
The cost to attend the State of the City Luncheon is $30 per person for members of the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce; non-members are $40. Reservations are requested by August 27, after that date the cost increases. Reservations are required as this event sells out every year. Saturday, October 16, 2010 The Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce is asking for your support with donations to our silent auction. A portion of the money raised from the auction will go to the "Moreno Valley Military Appreciation Banner Program" This program is to honor active local Moreno Valley military personal with appreciation banners on light poles throughout the City of Moreno Valley. B.I.A. and Wake-Up
Our weekly B.I.A. meeting is every Wednesday at 7:30 am (except the 4th Wednesday) hosted by BJ's Restaurant at 22920 Centerpoint Dr. On the 4th Wednesday we meet at 7:00 am for Wake-Up Moreno Valley, also at BJ's.
